Why do some people and organizations thrive even in the fact of adversity while others find themselves thrown by hurdles, pressures and challenges?
Dr. Orsborn's resilience training, retreats, consulting and interventions help leaders create an inspired and vital workplace, even in times of change and challenge. Resilient people are creative and resourceful. Rather than becoming reactive to external pressures, they learn how to tap inner resources to bring about the best possible outcome.

The Art of Resilience: An engaging, practical 1-3 hour workshop. In this experiential approach to learning, individuals and teams develop greater resilience in their work and life, learning important tools and techniques to pass on to others in their organization. Tested with hundreds of corporate executives for practical application in the workplace, the program includes the teaching of the resilience model and theory, guided conversation and an experiential component. Tools include Socratic inquiry, interactive dialogue and personal reflection.
Resilience Consultations and Interventions: Confidential one-on-one coaching with corporate leaders charged with difficult emotional and tactical challenges related to change and challenge in their personal or organizational life.
Resilience
Dr. Orsborn's Approach:
For twenty-five years, Dr. Carol Orsborn has studied resilient people in the workplace as well as general population, sharing her findings with executives in a broad range of industries.
Her theories, exercises and capacity for facilitation are based on the cutting edge of the science of resilience, a rapidly growing field that draws upon anthropology, psychology, religious theory, sociology and history to help us understand how humans can undergo change and challenge, and emerge with spirit intact.
Fortunately, resilience is a quality that can be learned. Under the right conditions, individuals and teams can take a giant step forward, uncovering new levels of clarity and self-knowledge, leading to the renewal of energy and passion at work and in their lives.
Equally important, they can be exposed to new tools, resources and perspectives to call upon whenever and wherever the need arises.
